    Can't find anything to complain about. Installed easily, looks nice, works fine. Most of our furniture is Stickley/Mission, and this fits in well. A little pricey, but worth it to avoid the junk from... that Big Box store that should not be named.

    Looks nothing like picture. The fixture is very dark and heavy looking. Have to return - not at all what I expected. From what I saw the quality is really good though. Nevertheless, I was not OK with really dark brown bulky chandelier even if it is of good quality. I love and buy Quoizel for quality and elegance. I have quite a few Quoizel pieces in my possession, but this one is not for me. My biggest complain is that picture is deceiving... I would never go for it.

    I ordered this for my stairway, replacing the cheap "builder special" 1980's brass and glass fixture that had been there for too many years. Since we're talking 18 feet, I got an electrician to do the job. Before he arrived, though, I opened the box to make sure that nothing was broken. Everything was in perfect condition, and I was immediately taken by the construction, the attention to detail and the solid feel of the the shades and the fixture itself.

    It took the electrician just about an hour to get this up and turned on, and I have to say it looks perfect where it is. I do have a few observations, however:

    1. The shades are much larger than the picture would lead you to think they are. They are the right size for my stairway, but if you were thinking about this over a dining table, they might look too large.
    2. I agree with the other review about the cords. While I appreciate the heavy duty cords, they do make positioning and leveling the shades a pain, especially when you have to climb a ladder in a stairwell to adjust them. They have been in for a few days, though, and they haven't shifted, so I hope this is a set and forget item. I used LED bulbs so that I won't have to touch the shades any time soon (I hope).
    3. The fixture allows for 3 100 watt incandescent bulbs (or equivalent in our post incandescent world). I used 75 watt equivalent LEDs, and though they were way too bright. My son agreed, jokingly putting on sunglasses when he walked upstairs, so I may have to move down to 60 watt bulbs.

    All in all, this is a well made lamp by a company that I have come to trust (we have 5 other Quoizel lamps around the house), and I would recommend it to anyone.

    The light is beautiful once it is up, but the product was made poorly. The threaded socket for one light was installed crooked and when we tried to secure the shade to the socket (not realizing it was crooked) the nut jammed and lodged to the socket, thus it would not secure the lampshade tightly to the chandelier. We were in quite the dilemma trying to remove the jammed nut and weren't sure we could. After much frustration we were finally able to loosen the nut and finally figured out a way to tighten the lampshade securely to the light fixture with the crooked socket. If you buy this light I would suggest you check the sockets before you attempt to put the lampshades on.

    I ordered two of these to use as lighting over my pool table. I hired electricians to do the installation since they were being hung in an area that required new wiring runs. A team of two electricians performed the installation in under two hours with no major problems. During unpacking and assembly, I did notice that many of the corner seams on the lower borders of the shades were either not soldered or had come loose in shipping, but this is not noticeable at a distance. My other minor complaint has to do with the thickness of the wires that go from the ends of the arms to the light sockets. The wire is rather thick and overly stiff to the point that the three lights don't hang completely level. The wire is strong enough to push them off-center and I've had to adjust them multiple times to get the shades hanging level.

    I ended up installing bright white 60 watt equivalent CFL bulbs in these, and six of them (two fixtures, three lights each) provides plenty of quality light for my eight foot pool table. I've been very happy with these lights and plan on buying the larger hanging pendant version of this light to go over my poker table. I've received several compliments on the look of these lights as well and they look right at home in my game room.
