Update: Yikes! When lit up, the green is a bright lime green and the dragonflies are dark purple! I tried using different bulbs to tone down the color. I LOVE the lamp base and the lamp design. But, lime green and purple just isn't going to work.
Original review: I just received this lamp. The base is a gold color. I would have preferred bronze or a darker lamp base, but it will be placed on a black glass desk top, so the gold will be fine. The gold highlights the dragonfly detail on the pedestal.
The green in the shade is lighter than I expected.
I have not plugged it in yet as the cord is too short. I will need an extension cord to plug this in. I will furnish more pictures after it is lit up.
