    Saw this lamp in a lamp store in Jax FL (man, the bright lights in there were bad for my hangover), and it was about $225-$250. Nice lamp, but pricey. But having style doesn't come cheap, and after looking for a nice lamp for a couple of months, this particular family of lamps was the best fit for my home decor.

    While in the store, a quick Amazon search showed it for about $60 cheaper, and thanks to Amazon Prime, it was waiting for me when I got back to Gainesville 2 days later. The future is here, and it rocks.

    Yes, this is real glass (there was some confusion here by other reviewers). The copper foil and soldering work is hastily done (a little sloppy and sometimes a bit crooked). It has a patina to darken the copper foil to a "bronz-ish" color. But, all-in-all it's not a bad-looking lamp.

    One thing you cannot tell from the picture is that the dark-carmel colored ridges on the shade are actually raised, and give a 3-dimensional structure to the shade

    The base is resin, not bronze (what did you expect for the price?). It looks nice, and you can't really tell until you look close and feel it. The base looks good, and no doubt keep the lamp at a reasonable price.

    Colors and styles are preferential, but if you share this color scheme, and like the style, go for it!
    I was able to purchase this lamp at a significant savings, so for me it was a great price and am very happy with it!

    This whole lamp is plastic. They use copper inbetween the plastic which makes it look like a tiffany lamp but the paint was flaking off of it. Plastic shade needs to be in the description to sell these.

    I spent over $1000.00 on pendants and 2 of these lamps to remodel my kitchen/dining/living space and they look very cheap. The copper between some of the joints can actually cut you. I had to file them in spots. From a distance they look fine but any closer than 6 ft and they look like junk. The joints are sloppy and have a "painted" look. They remind me of a school project. I thought Qouizel was supposed to be quality, they are not. I will install them because I plan on selling this house, but next time I will buy Kitchler or anything else. I did not purchase this from Amazon but from Bright Spot. It was drop shipped directly from the factory to me and by the way, it IS plastic and NOT glass.
