This vanity light is absolute perfection. The installation was about standard for installing a vanity light. You remove the old, put up the new, matching the wires to their respective colors and then securing it to the fixture. The light looks great coming through the shades, and the finishing on the fixture looks beautiful and luxe. I put it on a dimmer switch so that I could select the brightness we want, which I highly recommend. It works perfectly, just like the fixture it replaced, but it looks much better; much less 1980s. It's an amazing value for the price; I'd buy this brand again.

I ordered this fixture to replace one that had started to deteriorate after years of very long, very steamy showers in a small bathroom (probably without using the ventilation fan) by my daughter.
I was planning to repaint the bathroom first, but eventually decided to put the light fixture up and paint later because I was getting sick of looking at the box.

Hubs had no problems putting it up - he says everything was straightforward. He initially installed it with the lightbulbs facing up, but to me it looked a little odd just based on how close the bulbs seemed to be to the ceiling, so I asked him to switch it around. "No problem," he said, and 5 minutes later the light bulbs were facing down.

Incidentally, we had some vintage-look starburst Edison-style LED bulbs on hand (they didn't work out in our kitchen) and he decided to use those - I think they look really great paired with the texture of the glass (maybe I would call it a hammered pattern?).

I'm adding a photo - try to overlook the mismatched paint that was exposed after swapping fixtures (I'll repaint soon!). Honestly it looks good in the photo but even better in person!

The light is beautiful and customer service is great! One of the shades was broken and they replaced it right away (I sent a picture of the broken shade). The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is the shades on the end are a little crooked.

This is a nice vanity light. It was super easy to install and only took about 15 minutes. It can be installed with the light either pointing up or down. The brushed nickel finish gives it a sleek modern look. I also like the texture of the glass shades. I do think that the price point is a little high compared to other options, but I still like it.

Our old vanity light had been getting rusty on top from the bathroom moisture and I have been wanting to replace it but had not been able to find an upward facing light that I liked. This vanity light from Quoizel Lighting is a high quality light fixture. I feel that this light fixture will last many years and retain its finish in the moist bathroom environment. The base is all metal (no plastic), constructed well and feels like there is a good clear seal on it. This is a nice weighty fixture - NOT cheaply made. It comes with all your wiring ready to be connected. It's well proportioned and looks very good in my bathroom. The glass cylinders/globe/shade are tall and have a bit of a ripple pattern and gives the light it casts an interesting effect. I tried several bulbs and found I liked the taller bulbs, with the height of the glass. Also, since the glass is so tall you want to make sure you have a step ladder tall enough to be able to reach down in to screw the bulb in. And leave enough room from the ceiling to get the glass on and the bulb in. I am exceptionally happy with this light and think its a tremendous value for the high quality.

Good quality light. The light came package in a sturdy box with everything well isolated so there was no scratches. Each globe was packed in it's own box with tissue paper and bubble wrap.

The light mounts like most bathroom lights. Morning plate with a couple books sticking out that the light slips onto and fastened with a couple trim nuts. The mounting plate came with an extra set of bolts on case a different mounting was needed.

Also include were wire nuts to make connections easy. The clear globes are good at providing lots of light.
If mounting it with the globe hanging downward, consider of you have enough space above your mirror. If not you can mount it globes upward. But, while it is a great light, ended up not liking it mounted that way, personal taste.

This is a beautiful light for my bathroom. The brushed nickel has a subtle shine and elegant appearance to it. The light can be placed up or down, but I personally prefer it down because I feel like it's easier to change the light bulbs. The glass shades have a lovely design effect to them giving it a unique look. I was wanting to replace my bathroom vanity light but had not found the right one. I am so pleased with this vanity light - I highly recommend it!
