There are four spokes on the base at 90 degree angles. The base is heavy. The pedestal part of the lamp base has a VERY rough texture. I was not expecting the rough texture and don't care for it. I thought with the arced spokes, this lamp would be lighter weight and more feminine. This is a heavy lamp. The color was a little different in person and does not coordinate as well with my decor, as I had hoped for. I have a small square corner area beside the fireplace that will accommodate a less substantial lamp with a square shade. This is a lovely lamp, but it won't work for me.

    Beautiful lamps that fit my new color scheme perfectly. A few words for potential buyers...The shades lean more towards brown and tans when unlit. The colors pop more when both bulbs are on. They are dimmer than I used to having in this room, probably due to using 60 watt bulbs rather than my old three-way lamps. And lastly, because my tables are not against a wall, I need to center the lamps to keep the shades from being bumped when family members walk by. Avoiding broken shades is a must ;). But, yes, love them and had I found this family of lamps sooner, I may have ordered a ceiling fixture for the foyer, too.

    I had the floor lamp and ceiling lamp for this brand/model. This looks very much the same and functions the same as the floor lamp with the two pulls and two lights. It is a larger lamp that requires quite a bit of table space.

    These lamps are gorgeous! If you love Tiffany style lamps with clean lines and elegance, this lamp is for you. They were not cheap, so I suggest if you have small children or pets to keep them away, as the shades are a bit fragile. Of course, they are glass, so you have to take care of them. I expect them to last a long time. Great lamps!

    These are beautiful lamps that match perfectly in our family room and provide ample, attractive light, but there seems to be some quality issues with this maker. In all we had three lamps come through. One was perfect and one broken. We kept the replacement although it too had a crack on the side decorative parts on the base. It is great that Amazon handles returns so well since these seem to require that.

    We love this lamp. It's got heft to it. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the pipe nipple that screws into the top of the lamp has a slight lean to it and I'm afraid to force it. It makes the shade lean slightly. I had to turn the lamp where it was less likely to be seen. It was just not enough off to go through the hassle of doing an exchange. Felt that should have been caught by quality control, if they have that. I noticed it as soon as I began screwing the nipple in.

    We were very leery about ordering this lamp, based on customer reviews of other lamps from this company. We really liked the lamp so we decided to order and keep our fingers crossed. Delivery was prompt and the lamp was packed very well. As we unpacked the base, we noticed a "line" across the top of one of the "rods". Looking more closely, we realized the "rod" had broken and glued together. This really made us mad. Someone knew it was broken, glued it and sent it to us anyway!! The only reason we're giving this product 1 star is because it was beautiful and could have been an awesome accessory to our den.
