It came in the original box yes, but the box was very faded and beat up. Once I opened the box I noticed there was some very light scuff marks where the battery goes and little dust and scuff mark on the back of the fan and the bottom. More than likely an open box item resealed and sold as brand new. Seller should change item description to like new or open box to not mislead customers.
