Pleasantly surprised by the quality of this lamp. The metal base is heavy gauge with heat reflective insulating material on the inside and outside. It actually looks better than in the picture with a more visible brushed metal appearance that is very close to stainless steel (what I was hoping for). The satin frosted shade diffuses the light well, is uniform in appearance, and is easy to remove by turning 90 degrees. Lamp comes with mounting bracket, screws, and twist connectors. Requires 2 *A15* bulbs up to 60W (1/2" smaller than regular A19). I opted for B11 (standard base chandelier bulbs) which work great as my local hardware store did not have A15 bulbs.
The only problem with this lamp is the mounting bracket. It is designed as fixed orientation and therefore you cannot rotate the lamp to point in a specific direction. This may be a problem if you are a little OCD and your electrical mounting box is not aligned the way you want. I wanted the pegs that hold the ring on the lamp to point at the corners of the room but when mounted they were off by ~15 degrees which did not look good. Had to make a mounting plate to fix the problem.
