I purchased this lamp without realizing the cord would run from under the shade down the back. The pictures do not indictate this imporyant design flaw. I have no idea how I will hide the cord. The lamp is much shorter than it appears in pictures. Additionally, the smokey teal color is so dark it's nearly black even with the bulb on.
