    The light arrived with the packaging in great shape. The was a box on a bigger box. When I unpack aged the lamp which was enclosed in a Styrofoam block. I hate Styrofoam. I discovered that there were 2 small dents in the shade. Not what I expected. We are going to use it for our church piano. Not sure what I want to do. Tried taking a picture. They don't show up well. This must have happened at the manufacturer. Not sure why the would let this go,because it's a beautiful lamp.

    This was supposed to be a nice Mother's Day gift from my son to his mom. The first lamp came and the shade would not stay in place as the tightening nut would not tighten to the internal rod. I thought, OK a defective bolt, I will order a replacement, which Amazon made very easy to do. The second lamp arrived today with the same problem. The lamp is useless. Shame on me for not reading the reviews on this piece of junk before buying, as this seems to be a very common problem with this lamp. Now I have two pieces of garbage to bring to UPS for return shipment. BTW, this was not a cheap purchase. You would think you would get at least some quality for $124.00

    We first bought the incandescent 40 watt tubular bulbs that were recommended. The length of the bulbs made them difficult to install. The light produced by the 40watt bulbs was dim, and the bulbs produced a great amount of heat. We then ordered 60 watt LED bulbs. There was great difficulty extracting the 40 watt bulbs because there wasn't sufficient room to unscrew the bulbs. They butted up against the end of the lamp before they were loose from the threads. After working with them for a half hour, finally got them out without breaking them. The 60 watt LEDs produced much more white light and are slightly shorter, making them easy to install.

    For the price I would expect better, but I kept it because nicer ones cost so much more.
