I have somewhat high ceilings and needed a tall lamp to fill some space as well as bring much needed light to a reading corner. This lamp is great. You can have one, two or three bulbs lit to suit your light requirements. I love the pattern the light throws on the ceiling through the bamboo weave at night. It was easy to put together; appears to be solid and hasn't tipped over despite numerous close calls with a labrador and 2 boys. The only dig is that I would like to spread the upper arms a bit more, but they are fixed and seem to be closer together than the picture shows. All my bamboo baskets touch.
