Needed a fan for the spare bedroom that's not always in use so decided to get this one - it's a Hunter, which is good, and certified. It came in a box which looked fine, everything included, and otherwise couldn't tell that it wasn't brand new.
It took my father and husband a little longer to install this one than the other, non-remote Hunter fan, but they got it done in about an hour. There was a lot of joking about 'don't lose the remote'! since there's no cords to adjust the speed or light (at least from the outside), and the only 'complaint' I have is that it takes about 2-3 seconds for the lights to flicker on once I flip on the light switch or use the remote if the switch is 'on'. However, notice that this happens for another fan in the house so not sure if it's the bulbs or what. Once they're 'on', they give plenty of light.
The fan is the perfect size for a small room and produces more than enough air even at lower speeds to cool it off. It looks great with the brushed metal and dark boards, and there's a plastic mount so you can keep the remote on a wall if you're afraid of losing it (or just stick it in a drawer). All in all, a really nice fan from a trusted company.
