Replaced an existing ceiling fan with poor light with this one. Nice upgrade.
Pros:
—The three blades look cool
— The three blades are wide and put out as much breeze as five-bladed fans, if not more.
—The remote is easy to use
—The remote has a cradle that you can mount over your wall light switch so you can just use the remote as a wall switch for both light and fan if you prefer.
—The light DOES dim. Just hold down the light button.
—Puts out good light; comes with two LED light bulbs (standard base) that can be replaced. Puts out warm light (not that industrial white light) but you can change the bulbs to whatever light color you prefer.
—Quiet fan
—The white fan comes with reversible blades, white or light wood; blends in nice with white ceiling so is not intrusive in smaller room.
Cons:
—When installing without a down rod, it’s a pretty tight work space getting the wires and remote receiver in place.
—Fan blade installation is simple but a second pair of hands would make it easier.
—Looks fine in kids/guest bedroom or kitchen but light fixture is practical not fancy so may not be ideal for a fancier living room or bedroom where decor really matters.
