The fan was a replacement for a second bedroom. It has a more modern look to it - more so than what I have had in the past. I like that it is a name brand fan, Hunter and that they are usually more quiet and dependable. As far as the renewed aspect of the fan, it arrived in a plain cardboard box with a sticker indicating that it was a 52 inch Hunter fan, ect. My husband stated that no ceiling fan is easy or hard to install...you just install it. The process didn't take too long and the fan is operational. I like a lot of movement so it is running on a "2" setting - overall for the money and the type of fan it is I would order it again thus far. (just installed last night)
