After 37 years with a set (3 in total) of beautiful gold Hunter fans did some remodeling and the color scheme demanded a shift to grey. It also demanded that a remote control for one room be acquired. Found this fan, placed the order, and had it installed. I don't even know the fan is running, it's so quiet. I now have 5 Hunter fans in place, and all look great and run quietly. 112. Love Hunter and their products.

I had been shopping this fan for a while, hoping to find it on sale. I was super happy to find this refurbished option on Amazon for less than half the cost! Installation wasn’t too bad and our remote works great, dims the lights and adjusts fan speed. Our house is new construction so I’m not sure if it’s the fan itself or our electrical, but there’s something strange going on with the switches. One switch turns on the fan and light, the other switch seems to only turn off the light… The room is wired for a ceiling fan so there should be separate switch for the light and one for the fan. Not sure what’s going on with that. My reasons for knocking off a star is because whenever we turn the fan on, it always starts on high speed instead of what we had it on previously and it is a powerful fan when it’s on high! We better not ever lose that remote! My other reason for minus a star is the little flaws on 2 of the fan blades (pictured). They are small scratches in the finish. They aren’t too noticeable, so we’ll deal with it. Overall, I think it will be a good fan, it will just take some getting used to with the remote and our crazy switches.
