This is a quality product! The remote turns the light on/off quickly, but the fan has a few seconds' delay. One nice feature is the ability to use the remote to change the direction of the fan and it is actually done "on the fly". It's impressive to watch the fan slow down to near stop, then change direction and return to the same speed.
Everything I needed to install the fan was in the box, including the light bulbs! They are good quality, giving off a lot of light.
I plan on buying a second for another room.
