I have had several hunter fans over the years as I am military and move around alot. I will break this down as Pros and Cons as most of the fans I have in my house now cost much more then this. Suddenly due to covid my youngest son had to move home. The room he is living in faces the sun in the morning and gets very hot. I tried to match this fan with the hunter fan I already had in the room next to his. I will show pictuers of both and they are similar only in looks. So the Pros: This Gan was inexpensive. Not cheap! Or cheap made, hunter is a good product. . Fan was sent very fast from this seller. This fan is very easy to install sort of. More about this in the cons. I did not add a remote yet. All the parts were with the fan and it came packaged well. Cons. Well when it came the main down rod I needed to attach to the fan motor was not round . By that I mean it was sort of tear shaped. So I could not install the fan. I called the company and it took 6 weeks to get a replacement part. But they sent me the whole kit which gave me extra ecerything. The people on the pbone were really nice and I don't want to con this but you do want a truth full review. When the part came the fan went up pretty easily after that. Now I must say I am a mechanic and handyman so I don't always need instruction. I have to say make sure you layout the screws and parts before starting. Look at each package for a symbol. Like a triangle or circle and match thouse to the instructions. Its a great idea but I had to go back and look this up after I got started. Balancing the blades was not hard but take your time and read the instructions well. I had never done this before Now performance. The biggest issue is the electric noise coming from the motor. It can be quit loud considering the identical one in my room next to this one is whisper quiet. I do believe part of my problem might be my light switch. The room had a dimmer. So over all it has 3 speeds and my son is happy so I give the Fan a 9 out of 10 for easy of instalation, a 8 out of 10 customer services because it took so long to get the part. And over Fan a 7 out of 10 because of the Noise. Let's see how it holds up over the next few months.
