    Well I purchased this fan in July of 2020. As of today. May 25, 2021 it no longer works. At all. Lights started flickering so we changed bulbs, this didn’t help. So I turned lights off and left fan running, starting making a strange humming sound now nothing works. Lasted less than one year. Very disappointed because we went with Hunter because they are rated high. Also it matches our new furniture perfectly so very disappointed. Will have to replace it but will not be getting a Hunter.

    Installation was not a simple as it could be. Mostly because you have to go up into the attic space to install. This is a very quiet fan. Love that feature. Generates a lot of air movement on high and reduces appropriately. The light gives just the right amount off. Looks well made and sturdy. But the remote did not work. Was not happy about that. Of course didn't find that out till after it was all installed. Pull changes are long enough to reach so I just use them.

    Unfortunately this product did not come with a remote as advertised. It's too bad as we have installed other Hunter fans and had very good luck with them, but a remote was required for this one as wiring in a switch would have been very difficult. After I returned it, I got an e-mail from the company saying they would have sent one if I had called. Probably so, but I just went to Lowes and bought a fan with a remote there.

    Fan looks great, runs quiet and the remote mounts over the wall switch so no always trying to turn it on. I don't like the bulbs sent with the fan, but I haven't gone looking for different ones yet. The chains pull smoothly, but you don't need them with the remote

    This fan was easy to install except after it was installed I realized I had to take it back apart to install the remote first between the power supply coming out of the ceiling and the fan wiring. No big deal--cry once and get it right. We run this fan above our bed every night and we love it. Perfect size for a smaller room and it doesn't make any noise.
