This fan was a refurbished by Amazon and it's been GREAT! I've had no issues with it and I used it all summer upstairs in a room that typically held heat and was warm all the time....but this fan has changed that! I love its look (it's not real big) and it's very very quiet! Which is important because my grandson sleeps in this room when visiting, so it hits both needs, it's quiet AND it cools the room. And I save money buying the Amazon refurbished.
