The fan itself is great, this is more about the refurb vendor. If it didn't have the sticker on the box that it was a refurb, I wouldn't have known. One of the units was bad--the controller was dead and the housing was rubbing on the blade carrier (I think it was dropped prior to being returned). I contacted the vendor and explained the issue (I have a video to show them); they issued a prompt refund. Trouble is now I have one good and one bad, so I may have to buy another at full price--but at least I didn't pay full price for both.
