For starters, I should say that I bought this item on the mobile app and couldn't see the pictures very well. Also, I didn't fully read the description to see it said Painted. I was expecting brushed nickel because that's what I'd searched for, and that's what it looked like in the pictures. So that's on me.
However, even for painted, the description didn't mention that this item is HEAVILY DISTRESSED. It looked chipped, dirty, and rusty. I know farmhouse chic is all the rage right now, and a lot of people may like the distressed look so if you do, this item is for you.
But it's not for me and the description didn't say it was distressed.
I'm returning it and getting one that is actually brushed nickel.
