When I initially received the light, I didn't think I was going to like the little gem stone/crystals that hang inside but upon installation - I love it! The light has a fun, modern style to it and looks good all by itself. However, when you turn the light on... You get the full affect and it casts a beautiful glow across the wall. It was easy to assemble and affordable compared to other similar sconces... Although I use the word 'similar' loosely because this sconce is really one of a kind
