If you plan to install this light yourself you should read this review to understand what you are getting into. Otherwise hire an electrician and it becomes their problem.
After unpacking the light I was annoyed at how much the manufacturer cheaped out. I expected the lamp to have 2 power wires and a third wire for grounding. Instead the lamp is made of a cheap frame into which three standard light bulb sockets were added. The sockets each have two power wires coming from them. If you were expecting power to all three sockets you will need to wire it so. In other words you will have to connect three wires (one from each of the sockets) to the power supply wire from where you want to mount the lamp. Repeat for the neutral wires. Connecting a couple wires together with a wire nut is pretty simple and thus most do it yourselfers can readily replace an existing lamp. In this case you will need to connect four wires with a larger wire nut. Even with 14 gauge wire this can be a bit tricky. And if the wiring in your junction box already involves more than one wire (typical if the circuit powers more than one light fixture) you will now need to connect at least 5 wires or more together.
An electrician might be up for the challenge but that isn't my idea of fun, especially balancing on a ladder trying to hold the fixture steady. Instead I opted to do what should have been done by the manufacturer - connecting the wires from three sockets. Even though you end up joining 4 wires together this is MUCH easier to do when you can lay the fixture on a table and take you time to properly connect them. Then when it comes to installing the fixture you will be down to the expected 2 wires. Fortunately this fixture's design leaves a gap between the ceiling and the fixture. Don't worry you can not see this gap once the fixture is screwed in. However you can use it to contain the bundle of wiring which you normally would place inside the junction box.
The next problem you will run into is with the insulation. The precut holes do not line up with the mounting holes on the fixture - not even close. Right after fixing the wiring is a good time to poke a couple new holes into the insulation. I used a pencil since the insulation is not very strong.
Once the preparations were completed the installation was pretty simple. If the screws in the junction box are not long enough to cover the gap between the fixture and the ceiling use the screws supplied with the lamp.
