I ordered this light to install in a laundry room.
The Bad:
1) I order one and it arrived with a busted corner and a dark spot in the light (dark area when light was turned on). I returned and ordered a second one. Second one arrive with two busted corners. The packaging was fine on both, so I think the issue is how the light is manufactured and handled at the manufacturing location. I decided to keep the second light since I was ready to get the project finished, and since I could hide one of the busted corners due to positioning in a small laundry room.
2) The light is almost impossible to install without scratching your ceiling really bad. There is a mounting bracket that attaches to a standard light box. The bracket has four clips on it. To install the light, you have to hold it up tight against the ceiling and slide it till the clips on the light slide into the clips on the mounting bracket. The sheet metal edges of the light sliding on the ceiling really scratched my ceiling bad. If you do buy this light, do yourself a favor and buy some thin stick-on felt pads and stick them to the top four corners of the light before you try sliding it along your ceiling.
The Good:
It gives off a good amount of light. I like the look of it once installed.
This light is too expensive to have to deal with these type of quality issues. If you can get one that isn't damaged, then it would be a nice light. I wouldn't buy again just due to the pain the dealing with returns.
