I was specifically looking for onion type lights and came across these and fell in love with them. I was concerned because they were technically considered "outdoor" lights with wet rating. That being said, I felt they would still look good inside over a kitchen island. My theory was spot on and how lovely they are!!! I got a different light for my dining area but it was so small I decided to use the same light in the little area. They work great and I've gotten lots of compliments on them! Highly recommend these lights! I used clear LED lightbulbs in them that are globe shaped rather than typical lightbulbs.

    This is the style of lighting that I wanted to go over my copper sink window with the view of a shipping channel in my kitchen.
