I removed a couple walls and went for an open concept floorplan (kitchen, living room, and dining room). This light hangs over the dining room table. The sunlight catches the crystals and sends a shimmer through the room. I tried several bulbs. Decided on clear 40 watt equivalent LED candelabra bulbs, 60 watt was just too bright. Note, I do not recommend the LED bulbs with the white glass because they block the crystals and take away from the look of the light. I have the light on a dimmer and it is perfect for the space. My cabinets are maple with chestnut stain, the countertops are black galaxy, and the floors are red oak with natural finish and the finish on this light matches it all perfectly. I ordered a second one for the foyer and everyone that comes in the house comments on how much they like the lights. This light exceeded my expectations.
