This fixture requires a hardwired installation .
Does this have an on/off switch?
Yes. This works with a light switch not provided. I wired my on switch on the wall.
The sconce does not have an on off switch.
Not that I am aware of as ours is on 24 hours a day.
Can this fixture use fluorescent bulbs?
Yes. As long as it’s a regular base for a bulb.
