I really like this design. Have the 24 inch in dining room and 18 inch in breakfast nook. Quality of materials appears very good. The 18 inch does measure 18 inches. Each side to center is 9 inches. Straighten out the sides and it’s 18. Cool white and warm white bulbs look good. I don’t like daylight bulbs in it. It is dimmable. The 18 inch looks smaller but my previous one had 5 lights. They were both 18. Got mine from Haus store. No issues at all except they promise 2 day shipping. the shipping company they use does not do it in 2 days. More like a week.

    The Maxim Deven series chandeliers are a nice design, but there are lots of other choices well under the inflated $160 price tag for this smaller version. The description says it's 18" wide, but it barely breaks 16" when you put the tape measure to it. With 3 lights and being even smaller than advertised, it looks tiny, insignificant, and flimsy when you hang it over anything but the smallest table or space. I would also caution you about doing business with OJ Commerce aka: WSports. In fact, my advice is: DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS SELLER unless you are 100% sure it will be perfect and you plan to keep it! When I asked to return this mis-measured, disappointing Maxim chandelier, I was notified that I had to pay return shipping plus a 30% re-stocking fee. Even if it's their fault or the manufacturer's, you have to buy almost 1/3 of anything you want to return. I would rather hang it in the garage than pay them $48 and shipping and walk away with nothing! Why would Amazon deal with a vendor who violates all of their friendly customer service policies and practices?? They should dump OJ Commerce / WSports in a hurry!!"
