I have put a pair of these flanking my plasma tv and in wall speakers. The room is painted in earth tones and this looks right in place. Has high temp wiring to accept up to a 100w incandescent bulb but will be replacing those with led bulbs quite soon. Interior is not really large so I don't know if a 125w equivalent would fit. I expect no issue with 100w equivalent but have some concern of how it will look with led, as, they seem to not light 360 degrees and have a dead spot near threads. Looks awesome and throws a lot of light with incandescents. Installation was a breeze, as, boxes were already present in wall. I would urge anyone to test assemble one on a table to get the feel of everything before actually assembling on the wall. Also, when mounting, wrap the white bracket with the bubble wrap from the glass while trying the adjustments to prevent damaging a freshly painted wall then remove for final mounting. I would rate this as a perfect choice for an application with vertically oriented pocket sconces.
