These arrived quickly, well-packaged. They look glorious and shed light upon the world that is my bathroom. You don't have a lot of room to move to the left or right once the housing is installed, so you want your vanity outlet to be centered. More importantly, the wires look the same. Typically, one is black and the other is white. This is not the case. It's like the scene in The Abyss where Ed Harris doesn't know whether to cut the blue or the black wire (because he's in yellow light underwater). He guessed and the bomb didn't go off. Phew. It's the same with this lamp. I guessed and it still worked. But, you can end up with a dangerous ground when you do that, so I then had to test for that, blah, blah, blah. You can find info on the interwebs to test it if this happens to you. The instructions kind of indicate that one of the wires is supposed to have ribbing or white marks. I've got mild hyperopia, so I took off my glasses and everything, but could discover no clues as to which wire was which. That's about the only issue.
