    This fixture looks really sharp installed, especially with a gold-tipped globe bulb (which is what I used). However, installation was a huge pain. This should have taken 15 minutes, but it took me nearly an hour and a half because the screws to mount the actual fixture to the strap were too long. So I switched them with the strap-to-box screws, and one of those was too short (but not the other, even though they were the same size. I was so annoyed at that point I didn't think too much about it.)

    Anyway, if you have a stash of various-length machine screws, as I rather strangely do, you'll be able to piece it together. The strap placement on the box also conflicted with the screws that mounted the fixture to the strap, so...that was annoying too. Basically, if you're willing to fiddle with this a bit, it's great. If you just want to slap it in and be done, this might not be the right light for you.

    The light itself is great. The problem was that it didn't come with any hardware to hang it. When I called and asked for the hardware they sent another light in gold instead of blue and that hardware was gold instead of the chrome that should have come with the blue. My contractor made it all work but it wasn't resolved correctly.
