    The light is larger than I anticipated even though I read the dimensions before buying. I had planned on using the light in a small enclosed porch but it’s so large that I am considering using it in the kitchen near the entry. The subtle blue green color has a beach or tropical feel which is what I was looking for. It’s nice to find unique colors like this instead of standard white, black, or metal colored. It seems to be well made. Haven’t installed it yet as I’m trying to decide where it fits the best.

    we have an older house with "lower" ceilings aka 7 1/2 feet as opposed to the current 9 foot standard. This means finding low profile light fixtures is a must.
