I returned it to them in the original condition and the original packaging. The seller tried to deduct from my refund by bogusly claiming that the item wasn’t in the original condition which is a complete lie. They tried to only refund me $15.38 on a $50.99 purchase. I had to get eBay involved and I received my full refund. He ordered the wrong part and tried to make it fit. In doing so, he damaged it. Rather than owning his mistake, he just returned it. We can't resell it as new so we refunded half his money. I guess its our fault he ordered the wrong item and damaged it.
