If you're buying these to mount a hi lift jack than I got good news for you. They work great, I sprayed mine with some rustoleum flat black and bought some wing nuts at home depot to and was good to go. For reference I mounted mine on the back part of my fj cruiser oem rack. I ended up using three of these to really secure my 48" hilift jack.

    I also used these to mount a high lift jack on my OEM FJ Cruiser rack. they work pretty good but i had to use 3 of them to hold it secure
