    I was not sure how good this wrench would be in opening the water main cover bolt. The bolt was rusted in and I had hard time twisting the bolt using this wrench. I used a hammer to hit the wrench handle to loosen the bolt and I was able to open the cover without breaking the wrench from the hammering action. It did fit the bolt perfectly and I am glad I was able to take out the bolt in case of an emergency water leaks.

    I recently bought this curb wrench. And I gotta say, for those not living in an apartment..it is a must have among your tools. This does exactly what it is made to do. And does it with ease! If for any reason you had a pipe issue and the water company may not arrive to your place for hours if called. That is precious time you can't afford to waste. This tool allows you to open the outside area with a water shut off to your house. You will still need a curb key to reach and shut off the valve. Which I recommend getting a 5Ft curb key. But with this curb wrench and a curb key, you can quickly and easily turn your water off and on whenever you need to!
