I wasn’t sure how I was going to like this. The old plug had rusted through. I’m so happy with. The appearance and ease at which it was to install! The plastic is pretty thin so I hope it holds up.

    Needed this to cover an extra hole in our black granite kitchen counter after we installed a new faucet that didn’t have a separate handle like the previous one did. The extra hole is front and center when you’re facing the kitchen sink, but this cover has made us forget it’s there. When you first drop this in, you can see the white washer that sits between the top of the counter and the whole cover, but it completely disappears when you tighten it down using the mechanism from below, which was quick and easy. It’s completely water tight — no Leaking into the undercabinet space, which is at least as important as the appearance. I’m glad I chose this particular brand.

    Great solution to get rid of an annoying recessed soap dispenser installed by the previous homeowner at the kitchen sink. Easy to install. It fits snug and even has a rubber washer that hugs the countertop to prevent leakage from activities at the sink and to keep gunk from building around and under the sealing disk. Love it.

    This thing is fine. Fine = 3 stars, I suppose. Another reviewer mentioned how white ring shows when the cover is clamped down. Sure enough, a bit of the white always shows, which is really annoying now that I'm aware it's there! When installing I wasn't sure whether that ring went under the sink or on top of it -- there are no instructions because, well, it should be simple. But surely people get have to think twice about that, and it would be nice if the seller would make it clear. Makes sense that it would be on top to keep water from getting into the hole. But who knows, that might be wrong. All I know is that if the white ring is meant to be above the sink and below the hole cover, it should also be black so that it doesn't show through.

    The one by Danco is better but when I went to order another one, the prices on all of these covers went sky high. Over $20, are you kidding? I had an open hole in my sink until they came back down a bit. And Danco stopped offering it in black. So, I'm stuck with this average thing.
