    I had to cut into my bathroom ceiling to get at the connection for an outside hose spigot. I bought this plastic panel to cover the hole. Because the plastic is not completely opaque, the cutout area would still be partially visible through the plastic. So I placed a sheet of paper between the panel and the ceiling before screwing the panel into place. Now I can't see the hole. The panel is slightly flexible, which might be useful if the surface you're screwing it to is not 100% flat.
