Update: I waited too long and wasn’t able to return this so we installed it on our kitchen. we have been using this faucet for a while now and I’m super pleased! It functions perfectly even without the magnetic docking. The finish is beautiful and it looks just as good now as it did when it was brand new.
I just received this faucet and am very disappointed that the pull-down spray head is plastic. I would not expect plastic parts on a faucet of this caliber/price. I will probably return it.
Also - there is not a magnetic docking mechanism. It relies solely on the weight to return/keep the spray head in place. It does not claim to have a magnet, but I’m just putting this out there for anyone considering it.
I was so excited about this faucet… :(
