This product is made of heavy-duty, 304-grade stainless steel and features a pair of evenly split basins. On the sink's underside, sound absorption pads dampen noise made by running water and maneuvering dishes, while the undercoating prevent condensation buildup in the cabinet below. A pre-drilled mounting hole on the back rim accepts your choice of single-hole faucet. I bought this sink directly from the manufacturer. I was planning to use it as a drop in vs. undermount. When it arrived there was a wavy pattern/defect in the steel rim. The manufacturer insisted it would wash off, it did not. They were not very responsive. I ended up having it installed as an undermount to hide the flaw. The plumber got a little bit of silicone on the sink when installing. I immediately cleaned it up, but it stained the sink. Nothing will remove it. This sink is always spotty, as it's barely sloped and the water pools in the bottom. I thought I was going to love it and was happy to find a 16 gauge SS sink, but this has been disappointing. Will have to replace it. Too much money for a throw away item.
