I've been using 3 of this exact style of George Kovacs wall lighting for the past 10 years; 2 for my bedsides and one over a desk. The original model used a twist knob to turn the fixtures on and off. After about 2 years, the knob on 1 of the bedside wall lamps came off and could not be reattached nor replaced, so I continued using the fixture by screwing the bulb in and out. After 10 years of this silliness the light finally gave out. I was over the top to find the exact model with the upgrade of a toggle switch used to control the light. When I received my new light, I was able to swap it using the old hardware (no drilling or new holes). I was confident in my new purchase because my previous light fixtures have lasted so long and only 1 gave out after 10 years while the others are still going strong. The design is modern and timeless, and the lighting's distance and angels are adjustable. I would recommend this light.
