This light is gorgeous! I noticed when I bought it the verdict was split as to whether or not the light was bright enough. In my bathroom the only other light is the fan/light combo which is not very bright. I felt this light was fine as far a brightness. It is right over my sink in the bathroom, I have no problems seeing well with it as the source of light. If you had a really big bathroom and this was the only light maybe it would not be enough.
