This is truly a beautiful led light. The structure and quality finish is flawless. The back box is a simple install to the existing light box with (2) screws. The cost is reflective of the beauty of the light. The instructions are an easy read for someone with very little electrical experience. I would truly recommend this light to others and maybe not because I would like too be the only one owning this fixture. I installed this fixture in the Masterbedroom Bathroom that was recently renovated. The existing light fixture did not compliment the renovated bathroom. I spent several weeks looking for a perfect light fixture with much disappointment. I needed a Brushed Chrome Finish with certain specifications to compliment the Kohler Vanity. This fixture by George Kovacs meet my specifications. Truly a must buy!!!!!!

    Very bright! Used to replace a 6 light vanity and it was far brighter. Needed to install a dimmer to help control this for using the bathroom at night or when first waking up in the morning. Worked very well with certified LED dimmer. Install was quick and looks great! The glass tubes will scuff against the metal holders at the end and middle, be careful when inserting them. Magic eraser helped remove the markings.

    Not a 6 LED wall light, maybe that is what it is equivalent to, but there is an array of 42 or 44 LEDs that are integrated into the fixture. It does talk about replacement LED array part numbers if one needs to do so.

    While this is a beautiful light, the amount of heat it gives off is awful! I have three in a large vanity area. Standing in front of my sink, 22" away from the wall, the heat radiates off the lights. This is after the popping noises stop, which is also quite annoying. I did not know there was an LED option and certainly wish I could return these, but they are already on the wall.

    its a very nice light. its very bright. the light is more on the yellow side than the white. but no big deal. it does make a faint buzzing noise that you can hear if the bathroom is quite. the dimmer as it gets lower gets a little louder. also if you turn it of and put the dimmer on lowest than turn it back on, it wont turn on OCCASIONALLY

    I bought two to use on each side of a mirror. They are quite beautiful; both elegant and simple. Easy to install. Nicely, albeit Chinesely, made. Mine don't make any noise. Xenon bulbs are hot but they are a nice color and fully DIMM-ABLE. They are 150 watt fixtures, that's 300 watts for my two. Put them on a dimmer unless you know you'll want full brightness all the time. The only reason I give them 4 stars instead of 5 is that the glass tube is not sized to fit precisely between the end pieces so hung vertically there is a gap between the top end piece and the glass.

    Update 5/30/14 I've had them up for about 15 months now. I still like them just as much but unfortunately the chrome is peeling off one end piece and starting to blister on all 4. Very disappointing.

    6/18/14 I contacted seller 340 Lighting and they sent me 4 new end pieces, no questions and no cost. They even paid for shipping.

    Looked great when installed a little over 2 years ago, but the LED component has already failed under light to moderate usage. It looks like there are replacement LED modules available from third parties, but replacing the module doesn't look easy. It's disappointing that a moderately pricey LED fixture provides light over a shorter time period than a regular halogen unit would've lasted before the lighting elements need replacement.
