Installed two of these on either side of bed to 1) free up clutter on side table and 2) provide better light. They look beautiful, were easy to install, came well packaged and the lighting options are great: Intense white reading light that I cannot see when I close my eyes while my husband is reading and/or soft ambient light to fill the room. There is a glass shade inside the fabric shade. Really like these. Very pleased.
