very chic in my corner 'throne' the right size although I pictured it much taller. It is the right size for my bedroom chaise. Not sure if I can justify the price. I mean can we even change the bulb if need be? this is dimmable btw all you need to do is push the turn on button to the desired lighting. Very nice when I wake up at 4:30 am and don't want jarring light but still want to be able to see. I have two of these... both work in similar fashion although the other is a table lamp
