We needed a new light for over our kitchen table - where we eat, do homework, play games, etc. I didn't want the bare bulb-style fixture, and I did want lighting which is soft white and dimmable. Install was easy for my handyman, the soft white LED bulbs are perfect, dims nicely, puts out bright light when needed, all the things I was looking for! Plus it has great style and is well made. My family likes it too! Very happy with this purchase after a long time hunting for the right light fixture.
