I have 6 of this model Minka Lavery lights around the outside of my home. I purchased this one to replace one that broke because we were unable to repair it and Minka no longer carries this model on their website. This new light is made out of a VERY THIN tin-like material and WEIGHS SIGNIFICANTLY...AND I DO MEAN “SIGNIFICANTLY” LESS. I doubt it will hold up to the elements or much at all without rusting, denting, or degrading. While from a distance, it looks similar to my original lights, $260 is an insane amount of money for something that a toddler could easily pick up with a pinky finger and dent by barely touching it. I don’t know if this is a counterfit product or if Minka has degraded the quality of their products to this extent, but I’m very disappointed in this light fixture. It feels like a cheap Walmart throw-away product. It is NOT the same as the original model AT ALL. This light is at best worth $30 and that’s being generous.
