I knew this thing was 20" diameter and I even prototyped the size on the ceiling before ordering but this thing is HUGE! The seller was generous enough to take it back after I opened it (I had to pay for return shipping). I ended up buying the 3 light 16" version.
My advice is to think twice (or more) if you need a fixture this big and ensure your room is big enough to accommodate it's presence. I wanted to ensure enough light for a large marble floored bathroom of approximately 16x12' but since the ceiling was a standard 8ft height it just was too big. A big reason in buying it was the fact of it holding 5 bulbs and thus could put out a lot of light. In the end I used the 3-light 16" version and put in 150W equivalent (20Watt actual) high-lumen output LED bulbs in it.
If you have a large space, and 9 foot+ ceilings I say go for the 20" fixture. If you have a moderate space and only 8ft ceilings then maybe 16" version is better option.
