This is a beautiful light with some design flaws. I have a standard ceiling and the bulbs are at eye level at its shortest length. LED's at eye level are generally blinding unless they are low watts and frosted. Incandescent T10's are lower Kelvin levels and yellow. I have spent over $100 trying to find a suitable, dimmable, 3000 kelvin or higher bulb for this fixture. I get tons of compliments on it but finding the right bulb has been like finding a needle in a haystack. T10 incandescent is recommended. It burns out quickly and the light is too yellow and soft for a working island. A dimmable, T type, frosted LED is what I am looking for and I MAY finally have found one. Also some of the bulbs don't sit straight.
