This light is pretty much perfect to mimic the fixtures in an old historic home. The first one I had delivered was broken, but the next one came perfectly intact. I have the 17.25 light and it's Huge! Seriously a statement piece. The largest one comes with a chain link at the top so you can hang it from a vaulted ceiling. Why they don't show that in this ad, I don't know. I bet many haven't purchased this because they didn't know that it would work for that type of ceiling. The ceiling in my kitchen is 10' tall and I only used one 12" rod out of the three that it comes with. The hardest part of installing this light is threading the wires through the slim rods. Eventually you'll get it-don't give up! :)
