We were excited to hang this in our recently renovated dining area, we wanted this natural wood tone to offset some gray in new cabinets. However, we were very disappointed to find it's all hollow metal, painted to look like wood. Re-reading descriptions and reviews, it is clearly marketed as a wood product, and in person, it does not look like the product photos portray. The glass lamps are also impure - lots of bubbles and wavy portions of the glass
It's not possible to hang it level, it tilts visibly. And the individual fixtures are not straight, the metal pieces holding each bulb are affixed at a bit of an angle and are not adjustable.
It also casts a shadow on the table directly underneath it, but I believe that this is more of a factor of the light bulbs facing up instead of down. But hopefully this will inform others considering Minka Lavery lighting products.
