This canopy is reasonably well made but the finish is more copper or bronze in color. It is pretty enough, but It doesn't match my brass fixture, so I can't use it. Next to the top of page photos and description and under the button to add to your cart, some text says it is returnable, but if you click on that text it says it is "non-returnable, but if the item arrives damaged or defective, you may request a refund or replacement." That seems pretty contradictory. So I tried the Amazon return system and after clicking that the item is not as described, I got offered a troubleshooting FAQ with unhelpful options about how to change a lightbulb.
Eventually I tried a reason for returning of "damaged or wrong item". This option also offered the same dumb troubleshooting but also gave a phone number to contact the seller. I then contacted the seller by phone and was directed to another number that directed me to an email. Four emails later was still unsuccessful. They said they couldn't refund it because the item was purchased from Amazon, not them. They said they can only replace it, but they don't have any other brass finish. They did claim the one I was sent is brass. Maybe it is a matter of opinion.
Finally, I found a way to call Amazon customer service and actually spoke to a person. Happily it is resolved now - but rather a lot of effort to do something that I usually find so easy on Amazon.
